Led by Dr. Miu Ling Lam, the program is designed to enhance the artistic expression and social innovation capabilities of secondary school teachers and students. By providing systematic training in various media technologies, we aim to equip both educators and students with the necessary skills to integrate technology into their artistic practices.
A key focus of the program is to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in and participate in artistic creation. By promoting the concept of social inclusion, we strive to inspire the younger generation and the wider society to appreciate and embrace diversity. The inaugural "Art ✕ Technology Teacher Workshop" was held at the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre. Teachers from ten secondary schools participated in this groundbreaking workshop, learning how to integrate aesthetic expression with new media art through the application of technology.
