“a-maze to unmanned” is an online interactive maze game powered by artificial intelligence, in which players need to solve a randomly generated and continuously transformed urban maze. Within the digital space, players are required to collect several fragments to unlock the levels and video clips, until the artificial intelligence in the interactive experience no longer relies on players, It is a reflection of the generation that celebrates automation and unmanned systems.

The maze is a reflection of Hong Kong’s unique and dense cityscape, as well as the subtle relationship between human-beings and technologies, players will play as an electronic signal in the city in the maze, overcome random logic gates to gain energy and continue its life cycle. Furthermore, they will confront over a thousand models and more than ten thousand maze combinations. Their existence is to find the targeted fragment, solve the maze and provide enough data to the AI until the maze no longer needs the players again.
